During this module participants are introduced to the global AIDS epidemic and its consequences, with consideration paid to culture, economics, and structural health care issues. Participants are also provided with skill-building in HIV and AIDS care for adults and children, as well as the identification, monitoring, and effective administration of antiretroviral therapy. Participants receive a preliminary certificate of completion for this module. |
